There’s a new name in the Riding Together section today. LookOver is partnering with TFX Suspension, and this one lands close to the wrenching side of what we do.
If you haven’t come across them yet, TFX is a suspension shop out of Weert, in the Netherlands. They’ve been building shocks under the TFX name since 2010, with roots in Dutch suspension manufacturing that go back well before that. Nothing they ship is off the shelf. Every shock and fork cartridge kit is built to order for your specific machine, your weight, and the way you actually ride it. Designed, tested, and manufactured in Holland.
And they cover the kind of garage LookOver was built for. Dirt bikes, adventure bikes, street and touring machines, quads, side-by-sides. They even build for sidecars. They’re confident enough in the result to back it with a money-back guarantee: ride it on your own trails, and if it doesn’t feel better than what you had, send it back.
Here’s the part that matters for those of us riding on this side of the Atlantic. TFX is a proven name in Europe, but they’re newer to the United States, and they’re serious about changing that. This partnership came together with their US representative, who’s working on getting TFX builds under American riders. We know what it’s like to be the newer name that has to earn riders one at a time, so helping a brand with fifteen years of builds behind it find its footing over here was an easy yes.
The wrenching side fits too. Suspension is the most skipped maintenance in powersports. Everybody changes engine oil. Almost nobody changes fork oil until a seal starts weeping down the leg. It breaks down the same way engine oil does, it just never announces itself. When was the last time you changed yours?
So the two halves fit. TFX builds suspension that’s worth taking care of, and LookOver makes sure you actually do. Bolt on a custom shock, log the install with a photo of the receipt, set a service reminder, and forget about it until the app taps you on the shoulder.
We’re starting simple. TFX is now featured in the Riding Together section on our homepage and on the partnerships page, and we’ll be pointing riders their way whenever suspension comes up while they build out their US foothold. Where it goes from there, we’ll figure out together. That’s how the best ones work.
Welcome aboard, TFX. Go give them a look at tfxsuspension.com.
