Scooters want an engine oil change every 1,000 to 4,000 miles depending on engine size, or once a year, with the first one at 600 miles for break-in. Change the final drive gear oil every 4,000 miles too. Inspect the air filter and brakes every 2,000 miles, and check the valve clearance at break-in and around 8,000 miles. The CVT V-belt is the critical wear item, so replace it every 12,000 to 15,000 miles before it strands you. Your owner's manual sets the exact numbers for your model.
