YOU KNOW THE FEELING

Your RV is both a vehicle and a living space, and both sides need regular attention. The engine has its own oil change and transmission schedule. The generator has separate hours and service intervals. The roof sealant needs inspection before every season. The water system needs sanitizing. The house batteries need monitoring. And if you tow a vehicle behind it, that's another set of maintenance to track.

Most RV owners start with good intentions - a notebook, a spreadsheet, maybe some reminders on the phone. But when you're managing engine maintenance, generator hours, roof inspections, plumbing winterization, HVAC service, and battery conditioning all on different schedules, things fall through the cracks fast.

A missed roof inspection leads to a leak. A forgotten generator oil change leads to a breakdown at the worst possible time. And skipping winterization can mean thousands in freeze damage. The problem isn't laziness - it's that there's just too much to keep in your head.

BUILT BY A RIDER WHO HAD THE SAME PROBLEM

LookOver started in a Montana garage. The founder had a new bike and wanted to take care of it right. He logged every service in his notes app: oil, chain, valve clearance, air filter. Before long, it was a disaster to manage.

He looked for a maintenance app built for powersports. Found nothing that fit. So he built one.

LookOver is purpose-built for riders who do their own maintenance. It works offline because we know you ride where there's no signal. It tracks hours because that's how dirt bikes measure wear. And it's simple enough to use with greasy hands.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KEEP YOUR RV / MOTORHOME RUNNING RIGHT

Multi-System Tracking

Engine, generator, roof, plumbing, HVAC, batteries - track every RV system with its own service schedule and reminders. No more juggling separate lists.

Generator Reminders

Track generator hours separately from engine miles. Set oil change intervals at 100 or 200 hours and get reminded before you're overdue.

Mileage + Date Reminders

Some tasks are by miles, some by calendar. Oil changes by mileage, roof inspections by season, winterization by date. LookOver handles both.

Works at the Campground

No cell signal at your campsite? No problem. LookOver works completely offline. Log services, check reminders, and review your history with zero connectivity.

Photo Documentation

Photograph your roof sealant condition, document generator service, snap receipts. Everything stays organized with the service record it belongs to.

Complete Service History

Every service logged in one place. Export your full maintenance history as a PDF when you sell - documented RVs command better prices.

WHY RV MAINTENANCE TRACKING IS DIFFERENT

An RV is a house bolted to a truck. The engine side needs oil changes, transmission service, tire rotations, and brake work like any vehicle. The house side needs roof inspections, seal checks, water system maintenance, propane system testing, and appliance service. Most vehicle maintenance apps only handle the engine side.

LookOver tracks both. Set engine oil reminders by miles, roof seal inspections by date, generator service by hours, and water system sanitization before each season. All in one place, all on one machine profile.

If your RV has a built-in generator, it has its own hour meter and its own service schedule. Oil changes, air filters, spark plugs, and exercise cycles all need tracking independently from the main engine. Most generators need running at least once a month even when stored, to keep seals lubricated and fuel circulating.

LookOver tracks generator hours separately. Set oil changes at every 100-150 hours, air filters at every 200 hours, and monthly exercise reminders during storage. The generator keeps your RV comfortable on the road. Keep the generator maintained and it keeps working when you need it.

Roof leaks are the most expensive problem an RV owner can face. Water intrusion damages walls, floors, framing, and electrical systems. The fix is simple: inspect seals and caulking regularly, catch cracks early, and reseal before water gets in.

LookOver sets time-based reminders for roof inspections. Quarterly checks during the season, plus a thorough inspection before winter storage. Log each inspection with photos of seal condition. When you spot a crack or gap, you have a photo timeline showing when it started.

RVs that sit for winter need comprehensive winterization: drain water systems, add antifreeze to plumbing, disconnect batteries, cover tires, seal openings against rodents. In the spring, the process reverses with sanitization, system checks, and re-commissioning.

Build both checklists in LookOver and reuse them each year. Log each step as you go. When spring arrives, open the de-winterization checklist and work through it. No searching YouTube for "how to de-winterize my RV" for the fifth year in a row.

RV tires are unique in that they often age out before they wear out. Many RVs sit more than they drive, and rubber degrades over time regardless of tread depth. Most tire manufacturers recommend replacement every 5-7 years regardless of appearance or mileage.

LookOver tracks tire install dates alongside mileage. Set a 5-year age reminder in addition to your mileage-based replacement interval. Whichever comes first triggers the reminder. Don't find out about old tires through a blowout on the interstate.

If you tow a car behind your motorhome (a "toad"), that vehicle has its own maintenance needs during long-distance towing. Transmission considerations, tire wear, and brake systems all need attention. Add the toad as a separate machine in LookOver and track it alongside the motorhome.

"I race motocross and ATV motocross with 7 bikes year-round. I can be mid-season and know my practice machine needs an oil change while my race machine needs a top end. I never have to think 'when was the last time I did this?'"

"I tried several apps, but LookOver flowed better overall. When I ran into an issue early on, I reached out directly and they fixed it fast, then improved it on top of that. I see a lot of potential in this app."

"I bought a used ATV with issues from poor maintenance by the previous owner. I wasn't about to make the same mistakes. I searched the App Store for 'UTV Maintenance,' tried a few options, and LookOver won on features, design, and support. When I reached out with a question, the response was so fast I knew I'd found the perfect app."

"I downloaded a few apps. LookOver was the most user friendly, and I liked that I could add pics. Kept LookOver, deleted the rest. It's a great tool to keep records for the future. Super handy when it's time to sell, too."

COMMON QUESTIONS ABOUT RV / MOTORHOME MAINTENANCE TRACKING

Yes. LookOver works completely offline. Log services, check reminders, and view your history with no signal. Everything syncs automatically when you're back online.
The free tier supports one machine. Pro subscribers can track unlimited machines, which is great if you have a whole garage to manage.
Yes. Export your complete service history as a PDF anytime. Buyers appreciate documented maintenance, and it often means a higher sale price.
If a spreadsheet works for you, stick with it. But most riders find that smart reminders, offline access, and photo attachments make tracking easier and more reliable than managing a spreadsheet on your phone.
Yes. LookOver works for any RV or motorhome regardless of class. Add your rig, set up your service tasks, and customize intervals for your specific setup. It works just as well for a Class A diesel pusher as it does for a Class B camper van.
Yes. Set up generator-specific service tasks with their own hour-based intervals. Track generator oil changes, air filter service, and spark plugs independently from your engine maintenance schedule.
Absolutely. Set a date-based reminder for roof sealant inspections - most manufacturers recommend at least twice a year. Attach photos each time you inspect so you can track sealant condition over time.
