Last quarter I said Q2 was shaping up to be louder. It was. This was the busiest stretch of building since LookOver started, and almost every piece of it traces back to something a rider asked for. Here’s the quarter.
You can finally see what your machines cost to run
Fuel logging landed. Fill-ups, real MPG or L per 100km, cost per machine, and tank range at a glance. One of the most-requested features for a long time, and it’s here for every machine in your garage.
Your maintenance history is yours to keep, and to hand off
Two big ones here. QR ownership transfer means when you sell a machine, the full service history goes with it. Generate a code, the buyer scans it, every oil change and top end and part transfers straight to them. A machine with proof of care is worth more, and now you can prove it. Free for everyone.
And the work no longer lives on one phone. Multi-device sync and a full web companion at web.lookover.app mean your garage follows you across phone, tablet, and browser, all in sync. Do the heavy record-keeping at a desk, check what’s due from the trail.
The app guides the work now, not just the schedule
Service guidance shows up on every reminder. Tap one and you get the how and the where, not just the what and the when. A plain-English rundown of the job on your specific machine, how-to videos, your service manual, or real shops near you if you’d rather hand it off.
And the one I’m proudest of
Scan your paper logbook. Snap a photo of the notebook in the garage or the Ziploc of receipts, and LookOver turns years of scribbled maintenance into clean service records with no retyping. The exact mess that made me build this app in the first place finally has a home.
A real test before you commit
We also moved to 14 days of full Pro with no credit card up front. Two riding weekends to know if LookOver belongs in your garage, no card at the door.
Where we are
Over 750 machines are being tracked in LookOver now, across more than 20 countries and a growing list of languages. Five powersports dealerships here in Montana are handing the app to customers at the point of sale. And we brought on our first ad agency partner, the first real investment of that size I’ve ever made in LookOver. The reason I could do it is the riders paying for Pro. That support is what funds the next thing, every time.
When this started I was the only user, logging my own oil changes. A loud spring later, it’s a lot of us. Thanks for riding with it.
Ride more. Wrench less.
