Your Garage, Shared

Bring your family, your riding crew, or your shop into your garage. Up to five people, you included, and every service shows who did the work.

By Derek Hildreth

Most garages aren’t one person. There’s the buddy who borrows the quad, the kid on the 85, the shop that does your suspension. Up to now, LookOver only knew about whoever held the phone. So the oil change your brother did last weekend lived in his head, not in the history.

That’s fixed. You can share your garage now.

Invite your crew

Head to the Garage section on the More tab and open Members & Sharing. Invite someone by email, or copy the invite link and text it. A garage holds up to five people, you included.

You pick what each person can do. Admins log services, edit machines, and can invite or remove people. Members log services and edit machines. Viewers see everything and can’t change a thing, which is perfect for the buddy who just wants to check your bike before a ride. You stay the Owner, and you can hand that off later if you need to.

Sharing a garage you own is part of Pro. The riders you invite don’t need Pro of their own. What they can do in your garage follows your plan, not theirs.

Done by

In a shared garage, every service records who turned the wrenches. It defaults to whoever logs it, and you can pick anyone in the crew. It shows on the service, in your lists, and in the CSV export. No more “wait, did you do the chain or did I?”

More than one garage

With Pro you can own up to three garages. Race bikes in one, family machines in another. Moving a machine between them takes everything with it: services, reminders, the schedule, photos, ride tracks, fuel and usage logs.

If your Pro ends, your extra garages go read only. Nothing gets moved or deleted, your personal garage keeps working like always, and getting back on Pro unlocks the rest.

Running a rental shop out of a shared garage? There’s a Check In for when a machine comes back, with your own return checklist, and the machine stays Not Ready until someone clears it.

This one’s for every rider who’s ever had to ask who touched it last. Invite somebody this weekend and let me know how it goes.

Ride more. Wrench less.
