Using LookOver

By downloading, installing, or using LookOver ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you don't agree to these terms, please don't use the Service.

These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service. This includes:

  • The LookOver mobile application (iOS and Android)
  • The LookOver website at lookover.app
  • Any related services, features, or content

Your Account

Account Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Keep your login credentials confidential
  • Provide accurate, current information
  • Update information as needed
  • Notify us of unauthorized access

You're responsible for:

  • All activity under your account
  • Devices used to access your account
  • Content you upload or create
  • Any loss from unauthorized use

  • 3 files per entity

Premium

  • Unlimited machines
  • Maintenance schedules
  • Unlimited photos
  • 20 files per entity
  • AI-powered entry

Your Content

You own everything you create in LookOver. Your machines, services, reminders, photos, and files belong to you.

When you upload or create content ("User Content"), you grant LookOver a limited license to:

  • Store your content on our servers
  • Display your content back to you across your devices
  • Process your content to provide features (like AI parsing)
  • Backup your content for recovery purposes

This license is non-exclusive, royalty-free, and only for operating and improving the Service. We don't claim ownership of your content and won't use it for advertising or sell it to third parties.

Export anytime: You can export all your data at any time through the app or by contacting support.

Acceptable Use

  • Track maintenance for your own vehicles
  • Use for personal or commercial fleet management
  • Share exported reports with buyers or mechanics
  • Access from multiple personal devices
  • Use AI features to simplify data entry

Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of LookOver, LLC and its licensors.

This includes:

  • ✓LookOver name, logo, and branding
  • ✓App design, user interface, and user experience
  • ✓Software code and algorithms
  • ✓Documentation and content we create

The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Our trademarks may not be used without prior written permission.

Disclaimers

LookOver is a maintenance tracking tool, not a substitute for professional advice.

Always consult your owner's manual and qualified mechanics for maintenance decisions.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
  • Results from the Service will be accurate or reliable
  • The Service will meet your specific requirements
  • Any defects will be corrected

Limitation of Liability

In plain English: We're not responsible for indirect damages or things outside our control. Our maximum liability is limited to what you've paid us.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL LOOKOVER, LLC, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION:

  • Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
  • Service interruption or computer damage
  • Cost of substitute services
  • Any damages arising from use of the Service

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

Some jurisdictions don't allow certain warranty exclusions or liability limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

Indemnification

In plain English: If someone sues us because of something you did, you agree to cover our costs.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless LookOver, LLC and its licensees, licensors, employees, contractors, agents, officers, and directors from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party right, including intellectual property or privacy rights; or (d) any claim that your User Content caused damage to a third party.

Dispute Resolution

Before filing a formal claim, please contact us at legal@lookover.app. Most issues can be resolved quickly through direct communication.

We'll try to resolve your concern within 30 days. If we can't reach a resolution, you may pursue formal dispute resolution.

Account Deletion & Termination

You can delete your account at any time:

  1. Open the app and go to your Profile
  2. Scroll to "Danger Zone"
  3. Tap "Delete Account"
  4. Confirm the deletion

Or email support@lookover.app and we'll handle it for you.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. When we make changes:

  • Notification: We'll notify you via email or in-app notification for material changes
  • Effective date: Changes become effective 30 days after posting (or sooner for non-material changes)
  • Continued use: Using the Service after changes take effect means you accept the new terms
  • Disagreement: If you don't agree with new terms, please stop using the Service

We encourage you to review the Terms periodically. The "Last updated" date at the top tells you when changes were last made.

About LookOver, LLC

LookOver, LLC is a limited liability company organized and existing under the laws of the State of Montana, United States. Our principal place of business is located in Belgrade, Montana.

As a limited liability company, the members of LookOver, LLC are not personally liable for the company's debts or liabilities. This corporate structure is designed to protect both the company and its members while providing quality service to our users.

General Provisions

Severability

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and LookOver regarding the Service.

No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right doesn't waive our ability to enforce it later.

Assignment

You may not assign these Terms. We may assign our rights to a successor company.
